Strengthening Bonds

We recently wrapped up an impactful Emotional Intelligence training as part of our ongoing series aimed at empowering youth across all of Jordan. Our participants were carefully selected based on specific criteria, including first-time registration and a demonstrated commitment to personal growth.

One standout participant is Amani, a 24-year-old journalism graduate from Zarqa city, East Jordan. Amani is not just a journalist; she is a passionate advocate for freedoms in her community. During her first training with us, she highlighted her incredible spirit and dedication to being a voice for the voiceless. As Amani beautifully stated, “Writing has always equipped me with a clear vision. Aligning my daily actions with that vision brings me satisfaction and strengthens my commitment to becoming a better person for my community.”

Later on, Amani registered in our Career Development training, which was held in the Capital Amman, where she found the "Wheel of Life" exercise particularly valuable. “This tool can be revisited regularly to track progress and adapt to new priorities. I plan to use it more often,” she shared.

We were thrilled to see Amani return for the third time with us in our Emotional Intelligence training, especially when her two sisters joined her. The three sisters, each with unique personalities, embraced the opportunity to learn more about themselves. Qamar-Albayan expressed, "I really enjoyed getting to know my younger siblings better. Our differences are significant, but love is what truly matters."

At ACCTS-Youth, we prioritize creating a supportive environment where every participant feels empowered to share and connect. As Dina the other sister noted, “The warm and loving atmosphere among the team positively impacted us. We felt like friends, which allowed us to gain not just knowledge, but also skills and new friendships.”

We loved witnessing family members bond on a deeper level during our recent training! From siblings to cousins, and even a family of six, it was a beautiful blend of relationships.
